Rich Soule brings more than 22 years of experience as an Oracle professional. Rich spent 14 years at Oracle including more than 5 years as a Principal Product Manager in the development organization where he regularly presented at Open World, ODTUG and Oracle User Groups thoughout North America. Rich was recognized by Oracle as one of the top 10 Customer Visit Center presenters. During his career, Rich has focused on web development and user interaction design in addition to Oracle Database Administration.
At C2, Rich is responsible for database architecture and the database management group. Rich has significant experience managing teams of DBAs and has personally managed large Engineered System operations including Oracle Database Appliance and Exadata installations. He has decades of experience eliciting the right requirements from business users and then implementing those requirements as data models and applications that users want to use.
Rich is also an Oracle Database Administration instructor, teaching Oracle's Database Certification program at Austin Community College. In his spare time he races cars and coaches all levels of students on how to drive safer and faster on race tracks throughout the United States.
